Q.I need a fan to cool my reflector. Can I use this Inline Fan?
Air Cooled Reflectors generally come with either 6" or 8" ports on each side. Depending on the application and airflow, multiple reflectors can be connected in series to a single fan for cooling. Active cooling of an air cooled reflector reduces the quantity of heated air in the growing area, and keeps CO2 production (when CO2 generators are used) to a minimum. 

Q. Can I use this fan with a carbon filter?

Of course, you can.

Q. What is the difference between a Duct fan and an inline fan?

True inline fans like this one can be hooked up to a ventilation system for suction (intake) or for blowing (output).Duct work can be hooked up to both sides as is needed. Inline fans are usually about double the CFM and power when compared to Duct fans of a similar diameter. Inline fans are generally made using industrial quality construction and they are built to last a LONG time.
